The name No.36 is inspired by the famous 36 streets of Hà Nội. This is where the culture, lifestyle and history of Hà Nội is shaped, determining the core value and "vibe" of Hà Nội people. With No.36, we expect to help people "know" Hà Nội more thoroughly and lovingly.

Establishment of the Facebook group "Chuyện của Hà Nội"
The Facebook group "Chuyện của Hà Nội" was created on June 25, 2012, to provide a space for people to share stories, images, and memories of Hanoi. Initially, the group served as a platform for personal anecdotes about life in the capital, gradually evolving into a vibrant forum that attracted tens of thousands of members who shared a common love for the city.

Launch of the "No.36" website
As "Chuyện của Hà Nội" reached 100,000 members, the administrators recognized that a website platform would help organize and share content more systematically. We decided to build an online newspaper to broaden the scope of information and serve readers interested in Hà Nội more professionally.
After a period of preparation, No.36 officially launched on March 15, 2018, with the slogan “No.36, Know 36.” No.36 proudly offers readers the chance to embark on a journey through its pages, where they will “know” a treasure trove of stories, insights, and hidden gems that vividly illuminate the 36 streets of Hanoi, deepening their appreciation for the city's rich culture and history. No.36 became the first news website developed from the "Chuyện của Hà Nội" community, opening a gateway to delve deeper into the cultural fabric of the city.
